Top 10 Netflix Tv series to watch in 2020

There are so many TV shows to choose from on the various networks and streaming services. it's impossible to watch them all while some are absolutely incredible there are others that are downright awful.

Coming up I'll share with you 10 amazing TV shows that you'll actually want to watch.

Number 1:

We're starting right now first up is gangs of London, this action crime the drama follows the struggles between rival gangs and criminal organizations in present-day London after the assassination of thin wallace the most powerful criminal in London.

It's up to a son Shawn Wallace to take his father's place and twerk power struggles among rivals attempting to take control Shaun is played by the actor Joe Cole who some of you might recognize from peaky blinders fury fan of the aforementioned show gangs of London is a must watch.

All 9 episodes have already aired on Sky Atlantic in the UK and will be coming to Cinemax here in the US  

Number 2:

Later this year upload is a science fiction comedy satire created by Greg Daniels who developed the American version of The Office upload is set in the year of 2033 and follows a computer programmer named Nathan after dying prematurely he's able to choose his own virtual afterlife.

But still finds himself under the possessive control of his still living girlfriend named Ingrid the show also features interactions with his dead neighbors and his living customer service rep Nora who struggles with issues of her own yes it's a strange show but very compelling upload premiered on May 1st of 2020.

All 10 episodes are available on Amazon Prime video 

Number 3:

Reprisal is a 10 episode Hulu original series from the producers of Fargo and the Handmaid's Tale this drama thriller stars Abigail Spencer as a relentless femme fatale who after being left for dead sets out for revenge against her brother and his gang of gearheads known as the banished brawlers that tried to kill her this over-the-top drama features an excellent supporting cast which includes rodrigo Santoro w earl Brown and Ron Perlman

Number 4:

Billions is a fantastic drama series on Showtime that we think deserves more attention it stars Damian Lewis as billionaire hedge fund manager Bobby Axelrod and Paul Giamatti as US attorney Chuck Rhodes the show focuses on their battles as they fight for power and influence in New York the acting from the entire cast is superb the writing is intelligent and there are fun narrative twists that keep things interesting billions is now in its fifth season the first premiered in 2016 but the fifth arriving on Showtime in May of 2020 line-of-duty is a BBC produced British police drama that premiered its first season in 2012 it follows a group of officers in a controversial Police and head corruption unit they're responsible for investigating possible cases of corruption within the central police force each season focuses on new storyline with huge twists you would not expect

Number 5:

Line of duties perhaps one of the best police dramas you can watch right now five seasons have already been broadcast and has been renewed for six past seasons are available on various streaming services including Amazon Prime video Hulu and acorn TV the Star Wars spin-off series 

Number 6:

the Mandalorian is a space Western which premiered in November of 2019 with the launch of the new Disney Plus streaming service it set 5 years after the events of Return of the Jedi and 25 years prior to the events of the force awakens it follows a lone gunfighter and bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic the Mandalorian is action packed with amazing visuals and it's more entertaining than the last couple films in the Star Wars franchise a second season is scheduled for release on Disney Plus in October of 2020

Number 7:

Tales from the loop is an American science fiction drama based on the work of swedish artist simon stalin Hogg it follows a group of people who live above the loop in a fictional neighborhood in Ohio the loop is a machine that was built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe without giving away too many details each of the eight episodes features a standalone story with overlapping plots while the pacing of tails from the loop is slow it does provide stunning visuals but storytelling that is quite thought-provoking  

Number 8:

Westworld is a science fiction dystopian drama on HBO based on the 1973 Michael Crichton film of the same name I'll keep the spoiler free with three seasons already broadcast season 1 begins in American Old West theme park inhabited with robotic hosts which allows visitors to live out their illicit fantasies through artificial consciousness with no consequences from there things get very strange seasons 1 & 2 featured time jumps and twists which I personally enjoyed but left some viewers dazed and confused like I've said before Westworld is a show that demands your full attention but season 3 West world's storyline is more straightforward making it less confusing giving more clarity to its first two seasons the pacing is faster and more action-packed and still features some of the best acting writing and cinematography of any show on TV HBO has renewed Westworld for a fourth season no release date has been announced yet 

Number 9:

Creep show is a horror anthology series that landed on the shudders streaming service in September of 2019 it's based on the 1982 film written by Stephen King and directed by George a Romero but six episodes in total each episode features two stories that cover a wide area of the horror genre while some are scary others are just downright creepy and sometimes fun creep show has been renewed by shudder for a second season but due to world events production has been delayed and no release date has been set 

Number 10:

Quiz is a three Episode British miniseries based on the play of the same name by James Graham this drama tells the true story of Charles Ingram a former Army Major in the Royal Engineers who caused a major scandal which is sometimes referred to as the coughing scandal after winning a million pounds on the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire it features a stellar cast including Matthew Macfadyen Sean Clifford Helen McCrory and Michael Sheen in April of 2020 quizzes broadcast on ITV UK will make its US debut on May 31st of 2020 on the AMC Network
